Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) is a perennial herb in the legume family, native to northern China and Mongolia. Its root has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years as a vital energy (Qi) tonic. Astragalus is recognized as an immune modulator, adaptogen, and antioxidant herb, widely used to support immunity, combat fatigue, protect cardiovascular health, and promote longevity.
Our premium Astragalus Extract Powder is produced from carefully selected, mature astragalus roots harvested in autumn after four to six years of growth when active compound levels are highest. Using advanced water or ethanol extraction followed by low temperature concentration and spray drying, the powder preserves the full spectrum of bioactive compounds including astragalus polysaccharides, astragaloside IV, other astragalosides, and isoflavonoids.
Our astragalus extract powder provides standardized astragalus polysaccharide content (typically 10%, 20%, 30% or higher by UV) and/or astragaloside IV content (typically 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%, 0.8%, 1.0% by HPLC), excellent water solubility, consistent batch to batch quality, enhanced bioavailability, and extended shelf life.
